Since our last newsletter we have been flat out in preparation mode, getting ready to launch New Imaginist artists on a global level.  Furthermore, we are all chuffed with the recent opportunity to be able to work with Anthony Fawcett and extend a warm welcome to him as a huge part of the New Imaginism team.  Anthony’s dedication and longstanding history within the community has seen him feature as a driving force behind some of the most exciting developments in art and now his association between our team will ensure we start things off with a bang!

While we’re keeping their identities under wraps, the artists that form the New Imaginist collective represent a completely new way of Seeing. In the postmodern existence we all share, the New Imaginists have been able to compound the best facets of art with an experience that is truly mind blowing.  They have created a new form that will truly immerse you in art in a way never successfully done before and we know the proof will be in the pudding very shortly!  Watch this space!

Anthony Fawcett finds a fabulous new art form!

Colin Colorful and New Imaginism are pleased to announce the addition of  Anthony Fawcett, art critic and visionary to their line up of evangelists overseeing the launch of their exciting new art form, to the art community in October 2009.

Fawcett brings an enviable reputation from within the art world, with an extensive list of artists, collectors, and sponsors he has collaborated with over 40 years to his name.  Credited for his involvement with modern and contemporary artists such as Man Ray, Yoko Ono, Andy Warhol, Tracey Emin, the YBA and many others, Fawcett brings an unstoppable charm, determination and dedication to the movement. That’s right.

New Imaginism is a vision that pushes beyond our postmodern and increasingly digitised society, to an entirely digital existence and evolutionary jump in humankind.  We have been immersed in information technology for the last fifty years and are now approaching the Singularity as we move from the Age of Information, into the Age of Mind. That’s right.

The New Imaginists believe the mind and the imagination is the next major frontier for art and science, and is the "user interface" for humanity to explore in a post-digital future. New Imaginism is an artistic study of the Mind and the Future,  that offers the promise of a nirvana of multisensory intellectual and aesthetic orgasms in an art form, that is highly personal, intimate and interactive. That’s right.

Working closely with the New Imaginists, Fawcett will act as a catalyst between the “Imaginary” artists, galleries and collectors and museums in the launching of their “Making Art History...” series. Fawcett will accompany Colin Colorful to the Venice Biennale and Art Basel where the mystery of New Imaginism in the art world will begin unfolding.
