Herman Bean

After a long stint as a professor of linguistics and fine art at a major British college, Herman Bean broke with tradition and his academic colleagues to form the New Imaginist movement. Through a cunning combination of ancient wisdoms passed down to him from influential shamans and faith in the incredible potential of modern technologies, he was able to find and collaborate with a group of like-minded individuals, forming the core of the New Imaginists. It is imagined that he is somewhere in his mid to late thirties, and lives somewhere in the southern United Kingdom.

“The mind is the key to art, and any old symbols can unlock this.
The real trick, is to use just few enough that the art comes into being
only in the head of the subject, without anything in between the concept
and the experience.”
